As my student career comes to an end, I will continue with the inquiry process that’s been with me. The question I posed was, “How do I develop a teacher presence?” One of the big conclusions I had come to was building strong relationships with the learners in classrooms that I work in. The more I’m in classrooms the more that I realize relationships are very important but they aren’t everything. There isn’t a nice answer that you can wrap up nice with a little bow! The answer to the question will change with each group of students that I am with and the boundaries that are explicitly established in our workspaces.
I will continue to explore this question when I have time, however there are more questions that I have to consider at some point too!
