Sewing is a practical skill which I hold very dear to my heart! It is a part of me that I would love to bring into classrooms that I visit. I know that some classrooms have already incorporated sewing (or other textile arts) into their daily lives but there are so many more that could! It is a very hands on and engaging activity that allows kiddos a chance to further their skills at home.

Molly has blue hair tied-back and straight across curly bangs, glasses, and is wearing a tropical shirt tucked into blue jeans. They are holding a ceramic bowl in one hand and a small, burgundy, floral mouse plush in the other. ID End.]
I began sewing in the seventh grade. I was introduced in my Home Economics class to hand sewing that year. I then taught myself how to use the sewing machine that my Granny bought me for my 12th birthday. The following years, in Home Economics 8 through 10, I continued to develop and hone my skill set with a variety of projects.
I have since then used the skills that I have learned and continue to learn in making costumes and other clothing. I am beyond excited to share my passion with others!
[ID Begin: A series of three photos. The first is a headshot of Molly in their Beauregard Lionnett cosplay. They are smiling and waving. Their outfit consists of a navy top, navy arm wraps, and series of teal or green accessories. The second image is a full body shot of Molly in their Keyleth cosplay. The outfit is shades of brown and green with long orange hair. They are holding a staff to the one side. The third image is a mirror selfie of Molly wearing a bright red dress with white dots on it, and a white lace around the bottom. It is meant to look like a strawberry. ID End.]
